Asus 1000He - Reinventing the Netbook category

Since it invented the netbook category, it authentically isn't surprising that Asus has released a model that authentically whips the competition. On the surface, the 1000He looks no different than the typical netbook. But it's authentically its motor that sets it apart. Being the first netbook to use Intel's 1.66-Ghz Atom N280 processor, it is it faster, stronger and smarter than the current crop of ebooks around.

Intel claims the Intel Atom N280 boosts the computing operation of the 1000He, manufacture it capable of playing video in Hd video playback, which is where the other netbooks have been bad at.

Reviews done by computing experts indicate that the 1000He is authentically 7% faster than other netbooks, and it plays Hd video more smoothly. Fortunately for netbook fans everywhere, this motor is equipped with six-cell battery that can last up to 9.8 hours. So you can authentically watch some back episodes of the West Wing and still be able to chat politics with your girlfriend. This netbook also has a roomy trackpad with buttons that have a two-finger scrolling and zooming feature, give users precise control navigating through Xp menus.

Probably the only downside to the 1000He is its flat keyboard. Although it is decent in size, its sheer flatness makes touch-typing very difficult . So be ready for a drastic drop in your words per puny when you use this. Other than using Intel's new atom chip, there's authentically nothing new about this netbook model. It still features the same 160-Gb hard disk drive and 1-Gb Ram.

Still, the Asus 1000He netbook is still ahead of its time, especially when you think the price tag of 0. It's a bargain deal. If that doesn't draw you in, we don't know what else will.
