Asus Eee Keyboard recap

After nearly an year of wait, Asus has ultimately launched the Eee Keyboard Pc in the market. Asus describes the Eee Keyboard as a small entertainment Pc which features a comfortable Qwerty keyboard and a 5-inch touch screen. It is qualified with an Intel Atom N270 processor that was pretty popular back in the year 2009.

Other specifications contain an Intel 945Gse chipset, 1Gb Ram and either 16Gb or 32Gb of solid state storage. Since it uses Ssd for storage, a limited bit of rattling by the kids would not harm the data stored on the Eee keyboard. Prepare to be surprised, but is somehow packs two speakers too and even a built-in microphone. Of course, you get the basic components built-in too like the 802.11n Wireless Lan.

Asus Netbook

Since the Asus is marketing it as a home Pc, it makes full sense to equip this limited machine with a Broadcom Hd video decoder, which makes Hd video playback like a duck soup. Maybe the most distinguishing part of this mean machine, something which is not a part of normal keyboards is its 5-inch touchscreen display that packs-in 800x480 pixels multi-touch display and Hdmi output.

The entire weight of the machine weighs around a modest 1.1 kilograms and is already up for sale on most of the online stores. The weight of expedient is justifiable because it also has a built-in rechargeable battery for which the enterprise claims that it should run for about four hours on a single charge.
