Asus Eee Pc 1005Ha Netbook relate - Pros and Cons

When you think of netbooks, chances are that the name Asus immediately pops into mind. This is understandable as Asus was one of the pioneers that have come up with ultra-portable and affordable netbooks. Thus far, Asus netbooks have had a flawless track record in terms of operation and durability.

The Asus Eee 1005Ha netbook is the company's latest netbook model. From the looks like it, it is also the best model thus far and has been receiving raving reviews since its issue in June this year. Here is a quick list of the good and the bad of this new netbook model.

Lets start with the not-so-good points of the Asus Eee 1005Ha netbook. Like many netbooks, it has a slick casing. While it looks beloved and chic, it is a fingerprint magnet. If you own one of these its best that you carry a cleaning cloth with you, as it is very prone to smudges and fingerprints, especially if you have the black colored one.

Although bearable, I can't help but to notice that the fan noise is a small louder than usual. It is not so loud as to give you a migraine but a flaw nonetheless. After so many models, the Asus Eee 1005Ha netbook still uses a 1024 x 600 resolution screen. It would be great if they can offer a 720p display since many of us use our netbooks to watch its movies. This model is also a small heavier and thicker than many other netbooks in the market.

Despite its flaws, the Asus Eee 1005Ha netbook does have a series of very irresistible pros. For starters, the constructor claims that you can get 10.5 hours out of its batteries on one charge. In our tests, we unmistakably squeezed out 8 hours from the battery, which is very impressive by any standards.

Asus also provides an added 10Gb of online storage for all its netbook users. The Ram on the Asus Eee 1005Ha netbook is unmistakably upgradeable and it sport great improvements in terms of design. The 1005Ha has a sleek 'seashell' construct that looks much best than the older models. It also has all the top-notch specs such as the Intel N280 processor, 802.11 b/g/b wi-fi and Bluetooth 2.1 connectivity. After years of reviewing tech gadgets, it is very rare to find a all round excellent device. Despite its flaws, the Asus Eee 1005Ha netbook still scores very well in terms of features and performance. We give it a solid 4 out of 5 stars!
